Make Oatmeal and Honey Soap

64 oz. Lard
12 oz. olive oil
8 oz. coconut oil
4 oz. cocoa butter
2 oz. beeswax (melt in oils)

12 oz. lye crystals
32 oz. cold water

Fats between 95-100 degrees, the lye water at room temp.

Add these at trace:
1/4 cup honey, you can use a bit more if you like.
1/4 to 1 cup powdered (fine) oatmeal (I use a food mill to powder all my
herbs and grains) - measure AFTER powdering. I don't use much in my
recipe, unless someone says they want it for and expholiating purpose, but for the most part people like it with the 1/4 cup that I use. You might be able to use the blender for doing the oats and herbs, seems I read somewhere that this was possible, have never done it myself. This recipe does not need any fragrance since the oats and honey impart a wonderful toasty fragrance to the bars. But you could add a bit of dried cinnamon or clove spice if you like.

Hope you enjoy the recipe. :-)
