Honey Garlic Chicken Wings
2 pounds chicken wings
-- (1 kg)
--tips discarded and separated into drummi
--into drummies & wingettes
1/2 cup liquid honey -- (125 mL)
1/3 cup soy sauce -- (75 mL)
5 cloves garlic -- minced
Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC). Place wings on
sprayed baking sheet, and bake for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, heat honey, soy sauce and garlic
in small saucepan over medium heat to boiling.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
After the wings have baked for 20 minutes, drain
fat from pan. Pour honey garlic sauce over
drummies and wingettes coating well, and cook
uncovered for approximately 25 to 30 minutes
longer, turning wings every 10 minutes, and
brushing honey garlic sauce over wings.
Wings are done when they are richly glazed and
honey is no longer liquid.
