1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup water
1 14-1/2 oz can stewed tomatoes (including the liquid)
1 cup elbow macaroni (uncooked)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Brown meat and onion in large skillet and drain. Add tomatoes
(including the liquid) and one cup of water. Bring to boil.
Stir in macaroni; cover and simmer 10 minutes or till macaroni
is tender. Stir in most of the cheese, reserving just a little
to put on top as garnish.
**use mozzarella cheese for a change, although it's very
stringy, it tastes very good. If your brand of stewed tomatoes
is large chunks you might want to chop them up**
